Creators
S&P (Salt&Pepper) is an acronym of the names of the founders of the brand, brother and sister team, Sissi Stasios, Creative Director, and Harry Pourounidis, Managing Director.
Still a relatively young brand, having only launched in 1995, the passion of this duo team saw Salt&Pepper grow to a successful Australian brand within two years.
In 2001 Salt&Pepper was launched to the world when Harry and Sissi joined forces with the expertise of friends and successful homewares companies, Aerts NV in Belgium and EVE SA, Greece. This strong relationship has led to the global success of Salt&Pepper, which can be found in over 60 countries around the world.
Inspiration
Salt&Pepper’s broad selection of products, suitable for everyone wishing to express their personality in the home they love, are the result of the creative direction of Sissi Stasios.
A lot of Sissi’s inspiration comes from what people around the world are wearing and the latest runway trends. Sissi and her team of designers sometimes literally interpret classic patterns, colours and trends that people love to wear into items that can make their home look and feel as fashionable as they are.
Sissi travels around the world every year to all the major cities to gather inspiration for each seasons launches. As a result of this travel, Sissi is not only inspired by fashion but also by architecture, cities, rooms and spaces plus other industries from around the world.
