Sunday Pancakes

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup corn-starch
  • 1 ¾ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1⁄3 cup caster sugar
  • Butter
  • Icing sugar
  • 1 lemon


Step 1
Sift flour into a large bowl and add in sugar. Mix together then make a well in the centre.

Step 2
Whisk milk, vanilla and eggs together in a jug. Add milk mixture into the well and whisk to combine.

Step 3
Over a medium heat stove grease a the Tan-ium Fry Pan with butter. Pour a 1⁄3 cup of the pancake batter into the pan until desired size is achieved. Wait until bubbles appear on the surface and then turn to cook for 1-2 minutes. Transfer to a plate and repeat step 3 process.

Step 4
Serve with a light dust of icing sugar and a wedge of lemon for a sweet and fresh taste.
