Ingredients
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter
- 250g round brie cheese
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- Fresh parsley
- 1 cob loaf
- Salt and pepper
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a heatproof salt&pepper bowl. Combine the melted butter, crushed garlic, fresh parsley, and salt and pepper in a small mixing bowl.
Step 3
Prepare the cob loaf by cutting off the top of the bread using a sharp bread knife and remove the middle part to create space for the brie cheese.
Step 4
Pour half of the butter mixture into the hollowed-out loaf, ensuring that all sides have been evenly coated.
Step 5
Using a Fromage Cheese Knife, score the brie cheese in a crosshatch pattern and place it inside the loaf.
Step 6
Use the remaining half of the butter mixture to pour over the top of the cheese and coat all edges of the bread.
Step 7
Transfer the prepared loaf into an Albany Round Baking Dish.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Serve the Baked Brie inside the Baking Dish on an Albany Serving Board to avoid burning the table.
